Footlight Getaway – 2009

Come and enjoy the Dorset Theatre Festival by taking advantage of our Footlight Getaway.  Sunday through Thursday night from June 17 to August 27, 2009 with the exception of dark periods, such as every Monday and between plays.   Come stay in the most comfortable classic room we have available on that night, which will include a full country breakfast, a three course dinner for two, two tickets to the Dorset Theatre Festival and all tax and gratuity for $315.00 a night, double occupancy.

Come stay at Barrows House 4 nights or more and receive 2 complimentary tickets to the Dorset Theatre Festival.  Theater is dark on Mondays.

Our Elopement Package is available all year with a two night minimum requirement on weekends, three nights on holiday weekends.

• our assistance in arranging your ceremony, your license, and the justice of the peace.
• The Elopement Package is $110 above the cost of the regular room rates.
• All of the above, plus a two-tier wedding cake that serves 10 adults is $180.

After your wedding ceremony, you may dine on a four-course gourmet dinner in our cozy Tavern, the Dorset Room or in the Greenhouse.
Marriage in Vermont requires no waiting period or blood test.
For lodging on your wedding night, we have seven romantic fireplace suites, with two special suites which also include a two-person whirlpool tub. We invite you to honeymoon with us, too.
