Theresa and Experience Barrows who purchased the property now known as Barrows House in 1900. They also operated a livery business known as Barrows House Stables. (Our Bird's Nest cottage served as the tack shop.)

The original stables has only a single floor. The second floor was added to house Barrows House staff, and later improved for guest accommodations.

Stable Suites 1 and 2 have second floor private entrances and connect through the bedrooms.

Spring Special! Our 15th Anniversary Special! Come to Barrows House and experience our country hospitality & serenity. Help us celebrate our 15th Anniversary as Innkeepers and we will take you back to the rates of 1993. Stay Sunday through Thursday nights for $145 a night for a Fireplace suite with private bath, cable, VCR, country breakfast AND dinner for two. For less, you can reserve a non-fireplace room. Weekends are $30 more. Cannot be combined with any other offers or altered. This special is valid through June 5th , except for holidays.
